Signs of Safety: A nationwide clinical trial testing a Deaf-friendly therapy toolkit focusing on alcohol use and trauma-related symptoms.
Requirements:
• Age 18 and older
• Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, or Hard of Hearing
• Can communicate in ASL
• Heavy drinking or alcohol problems in the past month
• Trauma-related anxiety in the past month
Deaf-MET: A study testing a Deaf-accessible pre-treatment for alcohol use disorder with Deaf individuals in the state of Massachusetts.
Requirements:
• Age 18 and older
• Live in Massachusetts or can drive to the state for in-person sessions
• Deaf or Hard of Hearing and uses ASL
MA Deaf Mental Health Crisis Services Project: A state-wide needs assessment project conducting interviews of lived experience using mental health crisis services in the state of Massachusetts.
