This unique, Deaf-accessible internship program offers learning experiences within a clinical research setting. It provides interns with an opportunity to apply academic knowledge, gain valuable skills, and make meaningful contributions to the field of Deaf mental health. The internship can be tailored to meet your individualized training goals and scheduling needs. Our research team and internship program are fully remote/virtual, offering additional flexibility for interns from across the U.S.

Chloe Jean-Pierre is a senior undergraduate student and research intern at Deaf Yes!, currently contributing to the Signs of Safety initiative and the Statewide Needs Assessment. They bring a strong foundation of data precision and trauma-informed clinical exposure to the team, having previously analyzed language development at the RIT/NTID PLAY Lab and supported youth navigating social-emotional challenges at JRI’s TAP program. In the future, Chloe aims to pursue a Master of Education (MEd) in Mental Health Counseling to serve adolescents and adults as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
